A marvellous estate with a long history that dates back to the 16th century, when this place served as a monastery. During the last century the property was inhabited as countryhouse. Today owners restored the house perfectly and affectionate with a view for the detail and much taste. The result are 4 marvellous apartments, which altogether offer space for up to 12+2 persons and a very tasteful ambience.

The property is located on a plateau not far away from the little town Celle sul Rigo, which offers possibilities to shop and dine to the guests. From the mansion one is almost able to enjoy a 360 degree panorama up to the Monte Amiata and the fortress of Radicofani. A large meadow surrounds the peacefully situated property and thereby creates a pleasant place, where one can hang loose and recover generously.

Before the mansion lies the pool, from which one likewise enjoys a wonderful view over the landscape. Altogether an excellent choice for everyone, who gets pulled to the southern tuscany. A marvellous place of good taste on the whole line.

Description of the apartments

The estate Matona for groups offers altogether room for up to 12+2 persons and has 4 apartments, of which the apartments Forno and Amiata have a double connecting door. All apartments have their own external area. Besides there is a room, where a washing machine is at disposal for all guests.

The apartment Suite: (2 persons) is the smallest of the house. It is situated on the ground floor and has a living and kitchen area with dining table as well as a double bedroom and a bath with shower.

The apartment Archi: is suitable for up to 5 persons and situated on the ground floor. A real generous living and kitchen area that perhaps can even be called a small hall, consists of a large fireplace with a single bed-couch and a three-piece suite as well as a kitchen range with dishwasher and oven. There are two baths with shower, of which one can be suitable also for handicapped people. Besides, the apartment has two double bedrooms, of which one only has a French bed. Through the wing doors one enters the garden before the house.

The apartment Amiata: (5 persons) has a roomy living and kitchen area with dishwasher and oven as well as dining table, couch and fireplace. On the first floor, there are two double bedrooms and one single bedroom as well as two baths, one of with shower and one with a tub.

The apartment Forno: is suitable for up to 5 persons (4+1). On the ground floor there is a roomy living and kitchen area with oven, fireplace, a single bed-couch and a dining area. On the first floor there are two double bedrooms and two baths with shower.
