Villa Casolani is located about 20 km distant from the sea, not far from Cecina in Tuscany. Some of the most beautiful cities in Tuscany like San Gimignano, Volterra, Lucca and Pisa can be visited on a half day trip or day trip. Only about 6 kilometres distant you find the charming village Casale Marittimo.
The Villa offers a magnificent panoramic view over the surrounding hills, a swimming pool and all necessary comforts for up to 16 guests.
The villa is divided in 2 apartments, which are rented together as one property and connected inside.
Technical description of the Villa
Apartment 1: is on the ground floor of the Villa and offers place for up to 8 persons. There is a spacious lounge, a dining area for up to 16 persons, a very well equipped kitchen with direct access to the porch close to the pool. Furthermore there are 4 double bedrooms with en-suite bathroom.
Apartment 2: is on the first floor of the Villa and offer place for up to 8 persons. There are 4 bedrooms, each with en-suite bathroom. Furthermore there is a very well equipped kitchen, a dinging area, a lounge and a beautiful terrace. From the terrace on the fist floor you have direct access to the garden.
The pool of the Villa is 12x6 meters large. There is also a barbecue outside.
About 3 km long entrance over a dirt road leads to the house.
In total the villa offers place for 16 persons and is located on the crest of a hill, very peacefully, in panoramic position with an all-round view in the hilly landscape of the area. The villa offers many comforts and is a beautiful place for a relaxing vacation in Tuscany, Italy.
My recommendation
One of the few large comfortable Villas close to Cecina and Casale Marittimo!
8 large bedrooms, each wiht ensuite-bathroom. Beautiful setting and a fantastic service from the owners. Further more: 2 large kitchen for chefs and those who want to become more professional in cooking.
Or just the perfect place for relaxation, enjoying the wide views over the tuscan hilly landscape. A few minutes drive away: the rusty and charming Restaurant La Locanda, not far from Casale Marittimo.

- Final cleaning: 520 Euro
- Normal consumption of electricity (air conditioning not considered) is included in the price.
- Heating and air conditioning are charged on consumption
- If guests stay in a villa more than one week they can choose if they want cleaning of the villa included change of the bed linen and towels during the stay at the same price as final cleaning or just change of bed linen and towels at 10 Euro per guest.
- Heating of the pool: available upon request, previous early agreements and generally from the end of March to the end of April and from the end of September to the end of October. Mentioned dates could change depending on weather conditions and outside temperature, charged on consumption
- Deposit: 800 Euro (refundable)
