The ancient barn was built in 1820. It stands on a hill with a panoramic view of Siena to the north, and of Montalcino hills and Monte Amiata to the south. The house was trasformed into a very comfortable villa in typical Tuscan architectural style.

The villa, furnished according to the typical local country style, is endowed with the most modern comforts.
With a 220 sq. m . total surface the house is set on two levels.

Technical description: 
Ground floor:
Characterized by typical Tuscan terracotta tiled floors, all rooms are spacious and bright. Several large windows and French windows opening onto different panoramic sides make this part of the villa the very relaxing point for its lucky guests.

Partially overlooking the living room below, the first floor is characterized by warm light brown parquet and by the traditional ceiling with finely restored wood beams.
At the end of the stairs, which are also made of light brown wooden steps, there are:

• Three double bedrooms furnished with the utmost care for detail, everything reflecting the best traditional Tuscan style;

The Villa is surrounded by a wide garden with olive and fruit trees. Guests also have the use of a relaxing swimming-pool (7x14 m) with all equipment, barbecue and private parking facilities. 

The Villa is to be reached through a white road beautifully framed by secular cypresses and winding among the Crete Senesi - clay hilly landscape typical of the south-west area of Siena.

In only 2 km distance in the next small village you find supermarkets, restaurants and pizzerias, lying on the boundary between the woodland of Val di Merse and the Crete Senesi, just amid a region reminding of its Etruscan origins.
